About Daniel
Daniel was born in Guayama, Puerto Rico. He has a fraternal twin and a younger sister as well as a step brother. He grew up in Puerto Rico and enjoyed fishing, climbing trees, sneaking up on family and friends and just being mischievous. His family moved to Ohio when he was eleven years old. He eventually acclimated to his new home but has a special place in his heart for tropical islands. Daniel joined the United States Navy in 2005 as a yeoman, which is similar to the administrative and payroll field of the civilian world. He served for 8 years before he was diagnosed with PTSD and subsequently honorably discharged. These days, he is in treatment but also uses writing as a form of self therapy and creative expression.

His journey takes him to conclusions and worlds he never would have imagined existed.
This is the first book I published on October 2013, The year I was retired.
The Sailing Song
This book is a lullaby that can be read or sung to your little ones. The creation of this book was a family endeavor as I created the lyrics with my daughter when she was three. My wife helped by creating the illustrations and recently she created new and more colorful illustrations for us to rerelease the book.

A father and son live in a dismal, remote town. One winter, they catch a magical star that turns things around and brings them all joy. The small family and the town are brought together by the power of the star while also learning something about the Christmas spirit.

I Can’t Sleep is a story about a little girl who tries to figure out the cause of her inability to sleep and she also learns about the beings around her.
